Anthony Sheeran

Anthony Sheeran is a Holt-based artist working in ink and watercolour, specialising in architectural subjects. Inspired by the built environment—from detailed cityscapes to overlooked structural details—his work also draws on landscape and abstract forms, with influences including Andrew Wyeth.

Anthony works both from his home studio and outdoors, capturing light and atmosphere through expressive line and colour. Alongside original paintings and drawings, he produces books, limited editions, and a range of cards and prints. His publications include The Architecture of Bath and Jane Austen’s Homes, and his work is stocked by galleries, bookshops, and cultural venues across the region.

His work has been exhibited at the Bath Society of Artists Annual Exhibition in the Victoria Art Gallery, and he regularly undertakes commissions. He is a member of the Society of Architectural Illustrators.
