Tilly Rae
Tilda Rae is a freelance artist, illustrator and graphic designer based in Bradford-On-Avon, drawn to the abstract subtleties and sensitivities of life. Her creative process is intuitive, introspective and playful, often inspired by everyday beauty - reflections of trees on water, the vibrancy of Indian textiles or the raw charm of children’s drawings. She uses vivid colour, pattern and simple shapes to create powerful atmospheres in her work.
Combining her passions for health, nature and poetry, Tilda finds meaningful expression in her art and illustration. She's fascinated by how people relate to the earth and the idea that nature’s hidden intelligence underpins our existence. Her main project ‘Reconnect’ explores the micro and macro beauty of natural systems and their parallels with the human body’s workings. Through playful abstraction, she translates colours and patterns found in her scientific and esoteric nature research into vibrant, expressive designs that invite deeper reflection on our relationship with the natural world.
